The China Changchun Film Festival has been running for 33 years since its inception in 1992. This year's festival, themed "New Era, New Cradle, New Strength, New Journey," features six major sections: opening and closing ceremonies, film awards, film screenings, film exchanges, a tribute to the "cradle," and industry integration, presenting a panoramic view of the inheritance and innovation of Chinese cinema.
The 20th China Changchun Film Festival, held from August 23rd to 28th, featured not only major awards but also a series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Changchun Film Studio. Adhering to the Changchun Film Festival's motto of "a feast for cinema, a festival for the people," the city of Changchun created over 50 distinctive cultural and tourism activities across three key sectors, further highlighting Changchun's unique character as a "film city."
