Recently, the WeChat public account "Gu Er Xin Yu" published a post accusing the crew of Wong Kar-wai's "Flowers," claiming they were deprived of their creative work and that the crew engaged in employee exploitation and health issues. Gu Er claimed he was Wong Kar-wai's personal assistant, responsible for his daily life, and had no official role as screenwriter. He stated that he wrote the script for "Flowers" for Wong Kar-wai for three years without a contract or royalties, and ultimately remained uncredited.
Since 2023, Gu Er has been posting complaints on his WeChat official account, but has received little response. It was not until the end of August and early September this year that Gu Er released several recordings, which finally attracted public attention.
On September 20, the crew of the TV series "Fanhua" responded to the incident in a post on the official Weibo account @繁花BlossomsShanghai, stating that "the crew respects and supports the legal rights of all creators... The long end credits of the last episode are our recognition and tribute to the more than 2,000 Fanhua staff members." In addition, the crew also announced that they will soon release the three-year preparatory content of "Fanhua."

The crew of "Fang Hua" issued a statement in response
